Bummz Beach Cafe in Myrtle Beach

Karen our bartender was awesome.. we are coming back Friday. She was helpful since we are bartenders in Michigan and not opened yet. Keep up the great job Karen.

Great atmosphere, right on the beach. The best, freshest grouper around. Fish tacos were good too. Drinks were a little weak

we have visited this place several times. they have great food. anytime we've been, they've had a local playing live music. we always sit outside beach view. a fabulous place to sit and soak up some tunes, some drinks, and scenery. the wings are A+

The food, atmosphere, people, and most importantly, the view are spectacular. My partner and I went for date night by the ocean and Bummz delivered. Everyone was pleasant and welcoming. Our server was a delight. She made some great suggestions. Our “big beach vacation” drinks were good and strong - perfect for sipping while hearing the ocean waves and feeling the salt breeze. The onion straws appetizer was delicious paired with the horseradish dipping sauce. Finally our entrees, my partner got the beach burger which in his word was “perfection” while I got the blackened grouper. It was the right amount of flavor and heat - delicious. All in all, everything at Bummz made date night by the ocean perfect. Cheers.

While I'm not sure if there are booster seats available, I did see unsanitized high chairs, so that was promising. The restrooms are right at the entrance where people eating might otherwise wait to be seated.Pretty sure this place hops all day during the warmer seasons. The dishes might not be bad as the kitchen staff was truly dug into the establishment itself. While I did not eat this time, I do look forward to it.This is your typical deep dive, karaoke hut where the kitchen staff drinks and smokes cigarettes with you on the porch after their shift. The restaurant should put the option on the menu to buy a round for the kitchen. Cool idea, truly.As Old Man River belted Folsom Prison Blues one measure behind the music, I couldn't help but wonder at the fact that maybe this is me, so many years down the road, singing my heart out to a bunch of strangers and/or locals at this deeply rooted shindig. That thought had crossed my mind, at least.9/2 = 4.5 of 5 I would visit again.

We were staying in a neighboring hotel and decided to walk to Bummz for dinner tonight. We wanted to see on the patio but it was smokey and the music was way to loud. No way could we have had a conversation out there. So we picked a table inside. The table was dirty and we had to ask our server to clean it. I chose the fish tacos. Even after squeezing the lime wedge over the taco it was so bland. I was very disappointed. The fries were fresh and crispy but were just your typical frozen crinkle cut fries. We were definitely bummed after our meal.

Nice local beach bar with a decent menu and beer selection. Not too many craft beers on tap though. The outside seating area is very nice when the weather is nice. Service is good and the food is decent. We were there golfing this week and went for the corned beef and cabbage dinner on St Patrick's day. The corned beef was not good, cornbread was delicious, cabbage, carrots and potatoes OK.

Went here because it was close to our hotel. The patio would have been really nice but it smelled extremely smoky so we sat inside instead. The service was fast and nice and we got our food quickly. I ordered the fish tacos and they were pretty good! The kids enjoyed their hot dogs and fries. Nothing special but was a good average dinner for the beach that was priced well.

This was my first visit to treat a friend, also her first visit (who works at a hotel and frequently recommends places to eat to guests) and I just had lunch at this place to check out it out.It's a good beachfront location that I've seen from my many early morning walks, and their outdoor bar area often accommodates the many stray cats that roam the area.Although the food was good (grilled chicken salad), and the service friendly and efficient, I won't be returning because:⛔No discount for locals⛔No discount for Seniors.⛔No discounts or menu for groups - BUT 🤑Automatic gratuity of 18% added to your bill for groups (no incentive for me to bring my group 🧐).I really didn't feel valued as a customer (compared to my visit to another place yesterday evening).

Very poor service and the food was mediocre at best! Our server never got us refills, napkins, or even silverware! When we talk politely to the manager about what happened, he was also extremely rude and could care less about our experience! Would never go again or recommend to anyone.

WARNING!! PLEASE READ!! BEWARE!! Our waitress Kristie seemed miserable. My iced tea was placed on the wrong table then when I mentioned I never got it the waitress grabbed it from the wrong table and gave it to me. The people at the other table let me know they had already sipped it to see what it was. So I waited awhile to ask for another one. Finally our meals came and my fiances bun had a big spot of mold on it. They simply took the bun and brought another bun out. Not one apology or word was said about bun. Very disappointing experience and will not be returning. Local condo owners and visit frequently in the summer. For the virus being a big deal I was shocked about the drink part. Never experienced anything like that in my life. Negative stars if possible.

We went specifically for the grouper sandwich which is not on the menu right now. I had the groupa fingers and they were FANTASTIC. I'm going back for more, take out only.As for the urgency of the sanitation during this COVID mess, not so much. Sadly we felt very uncomfortable. Next time will be take out only. Great location though. I would definitely recommend any other time..after we have a vaccine.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. In addition, the staff was very mindful of patrons’ safety by wearing masks and having a shield at the bar area. Can’t ask for more when you have good food at a reasonable price with an ocean view!

The menu was completely different on Google maps information about this place. We were expecting more of a variety. Also you can't get any entree's until after 5:00. And when we asked what the bartender special drink of the day was our waitress said there wasn't one. We sat outside because there was a nice breeze, but I wouldn't recommend it unless it's dark because there is so much trash in the landscaping and shrubs around the tables. Our waitress was nice and the food was okay. My husband had the blackened grouper sandwich and he said it was really good. I had fish tacos and they were okay. I would've liked them with a little more flavor. I posted photos of the menu as it is at the time of this review. July 19, 2019

Super quick service and food delivery. Food was as expected, very good but nothing I'll remember forever.

Some friends and I came here and was met with the friendliness of Taylor! If your are a local, or just a vacationer, I highly recommend coming here and ordering the grouper! And if you are lucky enough to get Taylor, you will have a fantastic night!

This is a great dog friendly bar/restaurant right on the beach. Friendly staff , good food reasonably priced, cold drinks , and a fantastic Ocean View. Dogs are allowed on the patio which is the best View anyway.

Taylor was amazinggggg! She did so great with Hollywood Pictures we loved our photos and love our experience with her, she’s absolutely great!!! Very friendly and sociable! (:

I love that you have the option to either sit outside or inside. My family and I sat outside and had a nice view of the beach. The food was good and It wasn't too hot either!!!

Really good place to stop for lunch. I went five out of the eight days there. They have a decent menu to choose from, friendly staff and the prices are not that bad

The food was GREAT! The service was GREAT! Only downside is, Palmetto bugs aka water bugs that look similar to cockroaches are in this area heavily. So if you eat outside, you're bound to see them crawling around. Of course the restaurant cant help it, because these bugs love moisture, it's just very unpleasant to see. LOL

Super good. Fun casual atmosphere, "healthy" sized portions, live music, beach side patio area, good burgers, grouper fingers were awesome.

Food was fantastic, staff was friendly and prices were not to bad. Will definitely make it a point to eat here again.

On the beach with the option to sit outside with a view. Unfortunately this was not available for us, as they were busy. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri, which was good but not much alcohol in it. I had the chicken salad sandwich, which was very good. Overall, I'd recommend 😁

This is my brother-in-law’s favorite place to eat in Myrtle Beach. Food, drinks, staff- everything was terrific. Casual, laid-back dinner on the water. Who could ask for more?

Located within a spitball distance from the Breakers resort this is one of me and my girlfriends best spots to come to for lunch. Opens at 1130 am. Great service and even better food. Outside dining is amazing with umbrella covered tables or you can sit inside for a comfortable A/C experience with views of the ocean still. The way I’m describing this place you would think this is a paid Ad but honestly it’s just that good so I figured I’d spread the word. Definitely worth trying. P.s...... the drinks are strong 😬

Great place. Sat outdoors, yet established a conversation with others. The bar inside seemed jollie. And the biggest for us no fried bivalves! We could eat fried foods!

This is the best hidden gem in Myrtle Beach, sit outside and order a cold beer from Jeff! No better place

I enjoyed sitting outside, and the view! The food was good. I had a chicken sandwich. The kids also enjoyed their meal. Service was great. I read a lot of reviews before going, I am glad I decided to give it a try.

We love this place.. Great food and great service.. Whenever anyone comes into town we take them to bummz. The grouper salad with there special sauce is the best.

Food was delicious just a very limited menu with the Corona virus rules.
